Bellows? Or Turbine?
In, Out. Up, Down.
Rounding Off the Extremes...
Bellows? Or Turbine?
Most people breathe like a bellows: In/Out. In/Out. It's kind of an off/on thing. Consider a different approach: like a turbine. Instead of moments of starting and stopping, the turbine is always turning, always in motion. Make your breathing more of a constant flow, relaxed and steady - like a turbine.
In,Out/Up,Down
A second assignment: connect the in and out with another movement -- up and down; rising and sinking. What we're doing, is attempting to make the circulation of blood, breath and Chi automatic, steady and continuous -- in all directions, rather than just one.
"Rounding Off" the extremes
"Round Off" the corners and the edges. So no stops, no extremes, no beginning; no end. Continuous, slow, steady, rounded, circular breathing. Rising, sinking; enlarging and shrinking. The body, mind and spirit in eternal motion, sending out a constant signal which over time -- will penetrate and resonate inside the body and mind of an opponent.
